Message It doesn't have anything to do with whether or not you have an intake. What is important is that the BOV's are adjusted properly. If they are too loose, they will blow off too much intake charge too soon, causing an overly rich condition that can cause the car to stumble or die. When I first installed my BOV's it caused my car to die too, and I have a JWT intake. I then adjusted them and all was well.

I think it was just a coincidence that the BOV's you installed on the car without the JWT intake caused it to stall. I think that particular set of BOV's were just adjusted too loose.

Sorry, but having installed BOV's on TWO cars doesn't really make you an expert. That is hardly enough data to come to any sort of conclusion like you did.
